While N+ is frequently challenging, it never devolves to the level of senseless head gripping difficulty that has been seen in similar games, as it strikes a nice balance in difficulty.

Despite some level design and DLC uncertainties, N+ is absolutely a must buy for any self-respecting 360 owner. N+ adds lots of new, great stuff to an already incredible platformer; with its multiplayer modes, level editor, and wonderfully intuitive-yet-deep controls, there's enough here to satisfy diehard N fans and franchise newbies alike.

If you appreciate the art of focus, gravity, and near-death evasions then this title is a must buy. To round out this package; N+ also includes time-based leaderboards, level editor, co-op and competitive multi-player, and (everybody’s favorite) achievements; combine all of these elements and you have one of the best reasons to spend 800 Microsoft points.

A triumph in minimalism.

N+ is an exciting throwback to 2D platforming that improves upon the formula in almost every way.

Sure, you can download its predecessor for free on your PC, but with more levels, console controls and a bumped-up look, N+ feels like a new experience.

If it weren't held back by a few severely annoying technical issues, it might be the best Arcade title yet.

One of those deceptively simple concepts that’s nearly impossible to put down.

A great game for the Live Arcade. It is presented well, but it is the core gameplay that makes this title so much fun. The blend of puzzling room-based gameplay, combined with the ninja aspect of the game makes it well worth the 800 Microsoft points you'll need to download the title.

N+ may not look like much, but it’s fun and addictive.

It shows great aptitude for minimalist design and strikes a good albeit controversial balance between steep difficulty and steady progress. Joyful and infuriating in turns, it comes well and truly to life as a shared experience and, if nothing else, is perfect for masochists.

Purely on the basis that it's a wonderful concept executed with no small amount of wit and style, N+ comes highly recommended - at least to those with a taste for such punishing gameplay.

So it’s not really anything about N+ itself that will turn people off, as it’s a fun game in its own right with a ton of content in this one little package.

Platforming nuts and fans of the series won't find themselves disappointed at the content and frenzied gameplay packed into this 800-point arcade game. For a game which in its later bits exists simply to test your patience, it sure does a good job of keeping players in their seats.

If you’re in the market, Xbox live market to be precise, for a fun, fast paced puzzle game then I’d say the 800 points is worth it.

While it’s a great game, if you bought your 360 to see high definition graphics and all new gaming experiences, N+ won’t satisfy your modern hunger for High Definition. But if you liked the flash game, rate gameplay over graphics and don’t mind paying just over a fiver for some old fashioned entertainment, buy it… but be prepared to destroy the odd controller at certain difficult levels.
